I’ve just set up a Blogrovr account. Blogrovr is a downloadable Firefox plug-in that pulls up and displays in your browser blog entries that relate to blogs you surf, in real time. So for example, say I was looking at a blog entry, and there was another blog that linked to that entry, then Blogrovr would display that linking entry on its interface (a discreet tray at the bottom of your browser window). It’s kind of like Technorati’s function that displays incoming links to a blog, but instead of having a static page that displays information about a single site, the links to each different site appear as you surf.

I’m not sure exactly how useful this service actually is, but I’m going to give it a try. I’m willing to believe that it might flag up some interesting information. It also has a quintessentially web 2.0 doggy logo, which I actually quite like:

BTW, I just noticed that the code for your chiclet is incorrect (we had a problem with this if you didn’t hit return at the end of the URL in the chiclet maker). We’ve fixed it since, please regenerate the code.
